Aurora HOPE Mk-H - Immediate Public Release
AURORA HOPE / Mk-H - IMMEDIATE PUBLIC RELEASE - 24 OCTOBER 2026
Appalachian Heroes Foundation is publicly releasing Aurora HOPE, the proposed medically adaptable humanitarian branch of the Aurora platform.
The mission is simple: a person's medical condition should not automatically determine how much of the world they are able to experience.
Aurora Mk-H is being developed as a transport and live-care environment intended to bring the room, medical support, caregivers and accessibility systems with the passenger across future road, terrain, surface-water, underwater and air research modes.
The vehicle remains a concept and research program. No crewed flight, public-road, pressure-depth or medical-transport certification is claimed at this stage.
The immediate engineering objective is a full-scale stationary Mk-H Patient Care Core mockup, prioritizing accessibility, protected medical power, environmental control, emergency egress, communications, caregiver reach, sensory comfort and electromagnetic compatibility before final vehicle geometry is frozen.
Production collision avoidance is intended to use cooperative sensing, navigation, trajectory prediction and vehicle-to-vehicle separation. Any magnetic or inductive proximity layer remains a separately isolated research function rather than the primary life-safety mechanism.
Imagine a world where people who believed the ocean, the sky, the mountains or remote landscapes were permanently beyond their reach could experience them from a protected environment built around their care needs.
Aurora HOPE exists to pursue that possibility.
